Wrap the pickles OR simply trim around the edge of the gift tag and attach it directly to your pickle jar with a ribbon (or use a loop of tape to just stick it to the lid). Easy!
In the example above, I'm showing the larger tag (to hide our almost empty pickle jar!), but I have a slight preference for the smaller gift tag. If you are going to tie it on, it will hang a little better if you punch two holes in the tag and thread the ribbon through to the back.
Note: If you are a family of pickle lovers, there is also a tradition where you hide a Christmas pickle ornament on the tree. Whoever finds it first gets an extra little gift OR gets to open the first present.
I think this is a cute idea, especially if you have younger children. Look for pickle ornaments at your local Target/Walmart/Dollar Tree.
