Easy "Family Feud" Wedding Shower Game

My niece is getting married this summer, and this "Family Feud" type game is one that we played at her wedding shower.

Here's a link to the other game we played:  "Who Said It?" Game

I found the "100 people surveyed" answers at a fun website:  Diva Girl Parties and then I tweaked the game to make it easier for a group to play.  I used ten questions with their top five answers.  If they guessed the number one (most popular) answer, they scored 5 points, the second most popular answer scored 4 points, etc.

Example question:

1)  Besides a rose, what is the most popular wedding flower?  (Think of an answer and scroll down...)

If you thought of:
Lily = 5 points
Calla Lily = 4 points
Daisy = 3 points
Carnation = 2 points
Orchid = 1 point
(Any other answer scores 0 points)

You can simply give your guests a piece of paper to write on or you can create answer sheets.  Ask the questions and have your guests write down the first thing that pops into their head.  At the end of the game, give them the point value for their answers.  Have them add up their score and the person with the highest score is the winner!

Here are the questions that I used (read them out loud and give them a few seconds to write down their answer):

1)  Besides a rose, what is the most popular wedding flower?

2)  What is the most popular color for a bridesmaid dress?

3)  What type of fabric is a wedding dress made of?

4)  How old is the average bride?

5)  How many bridesmaids are in most weddings?

6)  Besides a church, name a popular location to get married.

7)  Name a popular honeymoon destination.

 My sister-in-law is not a fan of games, but I think she enjoyed this one.  Think outside the box, if you don't have a wedding in your future, you could use this at a Mother/Daughter banquet or a Girlfriend Get-Together!

If you need a similar game for a mixed group of all ages, try this one:  Family Feud (for a group)

Similar Disney themed one:  Disney Family Feud Game

  1. You can set up your own version of Family Feud, too. You can choose the questions and your guests provide the survey responses.

  2. I just looked at this site...with some pre-planning, this would be another great option!
