There are all sorts of gnome tutorials on Pinterest, so just follow your favorite one! Here is a pic of how ours turned out. They are all cute in their own way (however everyone thought my "gnose" was too big). 😄
Can you tell which one is mine?
The next day I made a partner for my gnome...I did think about giving them a "gnose" job, but they make me laugh so I'm leaving them alone.
I think gnomes make terrific gifts, either store-bought or homemade. If you are in the market to purchase one, Etsy sells some beautiful gnomes!

Update: September 2020 - I have had my eye on this gnome for almost a year and I finally ordered him! Sometimes you just have to "gift" yourself, especially during 2020. "Sven" makes me smile.
This shop has some other great options, especially if you like "shelf-sitter" gnomes!

I also had my eye on this smaller "Farmhouse Gnome" and I finally purchased him! This shop has affordable, cute, THEMED gnomes. My family thinks I am boring because I love neutral things, but this will be perfect for my tiered tray.
For a fun, inexpensive gift idea, check out these darling Gnome kitchen towels from Lizza Creations...
And these little Buffalo Plaid Gnome earrings.
Etsy is FULL of cute gnome ideas!

The free printable gnome gift tags have been my most popular pin this year! I was going to show you how to do a reverse image mod-podge ornament on a wood slice using this next image; however it was very sensitive when I started rubbing off the paper. I decided to forget it for this year and reversed the words back to normal. So here is a circle tag for you. (Note: If you don't have a circle cutter, simply find a glass that is slightly larger than the circle and trace/cut. It is OK if a few of the larger leaves are cut off!)

I hope your loved ones will all be GNOME for the holidays!
