Seal the flap on a small envelope and then flip it over. Follow my approximate pattern and draw a face and hat on your envelope.
Use colored pencils, markers or crayons to color your picture.
Then cut off the white part on both sides of the hat.
Now you can squeeze your leprechaun and fill him with tissue paper and treats. (I filled mine with gold coins...because that's what you find at the end of a rainbow!)
This one made the kids smile. Envelopes are so inexpensive that you can draw and draw until you get a face that you like! Try it!
“May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be ever at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rain fall softly on your fields.
And until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollow of his hand.”
