My rock star had a birthday last week.
He purchased his first lottery ticket...
(and was disappointed when they didn't ask to see his license)!

Fortunately, my young adult is still a kid at heart!
For Father's Day, he wanted us to see Kung Fu Panda 2 (in 3D). Long story short, he asked multiple times and we never went (which I felt kind of bad about).
Anyway, I thought it would be fun to take him to the movie as a birthday surprise. Fortunately it was still at a local discount theater, and bonus...they serve meals while you watch the movie! (Here's a shout out to the New Hope Cinema Grill...try it! We would go there again.)
The movie was very cute and actually would have been GREAT for Father's Day. (Note: They totally set it up for another sequel.)
I printed out some fun little games for the drive home...
When we got home, we had a photo shoot with these masks:
