"Family Similarities" Group Game

Two of my siblings live in other states, so we don't see each other as an entire group very often.  However, we recently had a combo family reunion, graduation party and baby shower which was fun.

When I was looking for a new image to use for this game, I had to use the giraffes!  My grandma was 4'10", my dad was only 5'6", but my youngest sister grew taller than any of us at 5'10".  I used to call her "giraffe girl".  I always wanted to be taller, so let's just say that I meant it as a compliment!  😉

Awww - the new babies (great nephew, nephew and great niece)

For one of my games, we played something that I call "Family Similarities".  I just made up a list of things that we might have in common with each other and said "Raise your hand if you..."

It was fun to look around after each question to see who had some of the same traits and preferences as I did.  Easy, fun game.  Copy and paste my list (see below) or come up with a list of your own questions.  Did people enjoy my game?  I'll say!  They were simply jumping for joy!

This is a fun photo, count 1-2-3-jump and try to get them in mid-air!

Are you curious about me?  I HAVE fainted in public (and I'm not the only one in my family to do it either).  I've never gotten a speeding ticket (knock on wood), I play piano and get sick on carnival rides.  I pulled many of these questions from my own life, but it was super interesting to see that some of my nieces and nephews share the same characteristics.  Don't rush through this if people are having fun.  Sometimes the questions lead to interesting stories that wouldn't have come up any other way.  We spent quite a bit of time telling tales about all of our broken bones, stitches, rides that make us sick, etc.  Enjoy!
