Easy Family Feud for a Group Game!

This is a fun and easy Family Feud style game to play with a large group.  Everyone answers ten questions and tries to come up with the "number one" answer for each.  This was originally one of the "Twelve Games of Christmas".

Group Family Feud

Hand out answer sheets numbered from one to ten (create your own or use my free one here.)   Then say, "100 random people were surveyed and the top five answers are on the board.  Try to guess the number one answer for each question!"

(I found the answers on various websites, but the first one that I always try is Diva Girl Parties and Stuff!  This is a very fun site, so check it out...)

Anyway, simply read the ten questions (listed below) one at a time and have each person write down the first answer that pops into their head.  Points will be scored for each answer that is on the "board".  The person with the highest total score is the winner!

I used this game with my family (including teenagers) on New Year's Eve and played it again with my co-workers.  It was well-received by all.

The Twelve "Games" of Christmas (#11 - Action Charades)

We recently played "Action Charades" at a Christmas Party and a New Year's Eve party.  The teenagers especially enjoyed acting out the words and were surprisingly good at guessing everything!

Action Charades

Simply print out this list of actions,
cut them apart and take turns acting them out.

The list includes things like "dancing a ballet" and "washing an elephant".  We laughed A LOT!  You could also set a timer and see how many one team can act out in a minute instead of taking turns and doing one at a time.  The options are endless...enjoy!

Thank you to "The Game Gal" for the list and Happy New Year!!!

The Twelve "Games" of Christmas (#9 - Catch Me If You Can)

Here is "Catch Me If You Can", the ninth game from the Twelve "Games" of Christmas.  Remember we are drawing the name of a person from one bowl and the name of a game that they will attempt from another bowl.

Catch Me If You Can Game

Game #9:  Catch Me If You Can!

You need:
  • 10 green cups
  • 10 ping-pong balls
(Supplies from Game #6:  Oh Christmas Tree)

With all 10 cups stacked together, bounce a ping-pong ball and catch it in the top cup.  Move the cup AND the ball to the bottom of the stack.  Continue catching ping-pong balls in the top cup and then moving that cup (with the ball) to the bottom of the stack.  The stack of cups will get more and more wobbly making it harder to catch each successive ping-pong ball.  This is a fun one...try it!

The Twelve "Games" of Christmas (#8 - Use Your Noodle)

Here is "Use Your Noodle", the eighth game from the Twelve "Games" of Christmas.  Remember we are drawing the name of a person from one bowl and the name of a game that they will attempt from another bowl.

Use Your Noodle Game

Game #8:  Use Your Noodle

You need:
  • Spaghetti Noodle (one for each player)
  • Penne Pasta Noodles

With the uncooked spaghetti noodle in their mouth, the player attempts to pick up as many penne pasta noodles as they can in one minute (without using their hands).

Use Your Noodle Game

Many people will want to try this game, so have extra spaghetti noodles on hand.  You could even set a timer for one minute and let them race against each other.  This is your game so you can make up any rules you want!

Note:  This game might be fun to play with teams.  Have the first person pick up a penne pasta noodle using the spaghetti noodle in their mouth.  The second person is waiting with an uncooked spaghetti noodle in their mouth and they try to pass the penne pasta from one noodle to the other without using their hands (or breaking their spaghetti noodles)!  We didn't try this, but it might be fun for couples to attempt...πŸ˜†
